Patricia Pedraza-Nafziger is a former Air Force brat whose global upbringing instilled a deep appreciation for culture. After settling in Idaho, she met her husband, Eric, and together they relocated to Washington, where she launched a successful career in Information Technology within the aerospace industry. Her journey eventually brought her to Huntsville, Alabama, before transitioning into academia—a move that allowed her to blend her technical expertise with her passion for teaching. Today, Patricia teaches graduate courses and takes great pride in contributing to her students’ academic success.
Outside the classroom, Patricia is a dedicated volunteer with Community Cakes, a non-profit organization providing birthday cakes to underserved veterans, senior citizens, and foster kids. As both Ambassador and Baker, she combines her love for baking with community service.
An enthusiast of women’s fiction, sci-fi, and horror, Patricia finds satisfaction and creative enrichment in writing. She is currently honing her craft by pursuing an MFA at Johns Hopkins University and actively participating in the Pacific Northwest Writers Association (PWA).
Patricia and Eric embrace a vibrant life in Idaho, enjoying road trips, outdoor recreation, and spending time with family and their beloved canines.
