Patricia Pedraza-Nafziger’s early life as an Air Force brat and traveling abroad fostered a rich understanding of diversity. After establishing roots in Idaho and marrying Eric, they relocated to Washington. From there, Patricia launched a successful career in Information Technology within the aerospace industry, later moving to Huntsville, Alabama. She eventually transitioned into academia, combining her extensive technical background with her dedication to education. Patricia enjoys her role as Professor and sharing in her students’ academic success.

Outside the classroom, Patricia is a dedicated volunteer with Community Cakes, a nonprofit organization providing birthday cakes to underserved veterans, senior citizens, and foster kids. As both an Ambassador and a Baker, she combines her love of baking with community service.

An enthusiast of women’s fiction, sci-fi, and horror, Patricia finds satisfaction and creative enrichment in writing. She is currently honing her craft by pursuing an MFA at Johns Hopkins University and actively participates in the Pacific Northwest Writer’s Association (PWA).

Eric and Patricia embrace a vibrant life in Idaho, enjoying road trips, outdoor recreation, and spending time with family and their beloved canines.
